Transmission of environment data with preliminary secret sharing processing using Sigfox

Using the Sigfox network and the Internet, we created Internet-of-Things devices equipped with temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure sensors to measure the environment data. In this study, we developed a way to process data as it is sent and received in order to use Shamir’s secret sharing for Sigfox communication. In particular, the received data, Shamir’s secret shared data, could be decrypted using MATLAB and displayed on the Internet using ThingSpeak.
