Development of an IoT device using SigFox, ThingSpeak, and MATLAB/Simulink

We installed a Sigfox antenna at Hiroshima Institute of Technology and acquired basic environmental data via the Sigfox network. The IoT device created by us comprises Sigfox, ThingSpeak, and MATLAB/Simulink, and this configuration may be in the reviews reported so far. Using the created IoT device, Sigfox acquires environmental data at 15-min intervals that can be operated at all times and processes it with ThingSpeak and MATLAB, enabling monitoring of the elderly who live alone.
