The distribution of thermal fields is simulated with the thermal action of the electron beam on stainless steel. To obtain data on the temperature distribution in the material, thermal loads are modeled. Two heating options were considered – without contact with the surface and with contact with the surface. The graphs showing the maximum attainable temperatures with a spot of specified sizes for stainless steel 12Х18Н10Т (EN 1.4541) are presented.
